How does Remote Assistance work?

We will be using either "eMail" or "Send File" options as described in the above document
 
  • You will receive an eMail with detailed instructions

    • We will call to setup a convenient time for the diagnostic session

  • At the time of your appointment, we call you again to:

    • Make sure you understand the Remote Connection process

    • Give you a secure password

    • Guide you through the connection file process

  • You start the Remote Session by sending us an eMail

  • We open your eMail and connect to your computer with that secure password

    • The password is only active while we are on your system

  • We remotely control your computer and screen:

    • Run the diagnostics

    • Collect and store your computer diagnostic information

      • The information is stored on our systems for later review

    • Return control of your computer to you and log off the remote session

      • The secure password is now deactivated

  • We review the diagnostic information in our lab

  • Within 48 hours we send you an eMail with the results and our recommendations

    • These May include a recommendation to upgrade your system memory

    • They May include suggestions we think will improve your system performance

      • Some of these suggestions may be simple enough for you to adjust yourself

      • Most s will likely be items that would be better left up to a professional

When Your Ready to Proceed with the PC Tune-up and Memory Upgrade:

  • Click the link in the results/recommendations eMail you receive from us

  • Complete the personal and on-line payment information and submit the form

  • We will call to setup an appointment for you to drop off your computer
